Job Responsibilities
- Support the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of the assigned unit.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and creativity to manage resources for quality performance.
- Coach, mentor, and lead a professional and technical team in delivering services to patients.
- Ensure quality of care is delivered to patients and the effective stewardship of resources.
- Participate in implementing change on the unit and maintain positive employee relations.
- Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.

Requirements
Experience: 2 years of recent ED experience; recent experience as a Charge Nurse or above
Education: Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing
License & Certification:
- Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
- EKG competency
