Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians.
Actively participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals and objectives.
Assist in the implementation of and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
Recruit, hire and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care.
Collaborate with various department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.
Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of an accurate and effective documentation system.
Provide direct resident care as staffing patterns demand.
Ensure effective interaction with residents and families.
Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts.

Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of management experience.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility function.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of management experience.

Education: RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.

License & Certification:

Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Current CPR certification.
