Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards.
- Serve as a leader of the healthcare team, delegating tasks appropriately and demonstrating accountability.
- Understand the scope of practice for self and team members, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Demonstrate professional supportive behavior and champion new ideas.
- Lead and direct others through change processes and utilize communication strategies for outcomes.
- Participate in problem identification and resolution and mentor others in operations and patient care activities.
- Prioritize, delegate, and supervise work assignments for patient care activities.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Develop and contribute to individualized care plans reflective of patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as necessary.
- Ensure effective communication with patients and their families about care plans and discharge instructions.
- Document nursing process interventions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
- Adhere to workplace safety principles and practices.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum six (6) months of experience required in an acute or sub-acute facility within the last three (3) years.
Education: Completion of RN Program.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Basic Life Support
- Basic Arrhythmia course required
Schedule:
- Full-time or part-time
- Commitment of 5 months from date of hire
- Required to work every other weekend and some holidays
