Job Responsibilities

Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) to achieve goals of the nursing department.
Work under the direct supervision of a preceptor for all principal duties and responsibilities during the training program.
Transition to independent practice after successful completion of the training program.
Adhere to AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and applicable local, state and federal regulations.
Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
EKG competency
Nursing knowledge and skills pertaining to diagnoses, procedures, medications, and patient safety

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Professional Certification

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of six (6) months of nursing experience; Preferred minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

Education: Graduate of a school of nursing.

License & Certification:

Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse

Schedule:

Full Time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts
