Job Responsibilities

Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
Welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), or Operating Room levels of care.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
6 months RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree in Nursing
ACLS certification
PALS certification

Requirements

Experience: 6 months RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program

Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program; Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

License & Certification:

State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
BLS certification
ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire)
PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)

Schedule:

Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period
Evening shifts
