Job Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all age patients in the operating room.
Provide care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
Make decisions regarding direct patient care needs.
Communicate appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments.
Participate on committees, quality improvement audits, and projects as designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing.

Requirements

Experience: One year experience required in intra-operative setting.

Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

License & Certification:

Currently licensed in the state or possess a compact license
CPR certification
Advanced life support certification (required within six months of hire)

Schedule:

No call, weekends or holidays
