Job Responsibilities

Modify patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s individual needs.
Use Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to provide patient care.
Delegate care according to scope of practice.
Verify the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
Provide education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
Promote effective communication among interprofessional team members & healthcare consumers.
Influence policy to promote safe patient care.
Utilize appropriate resources in providing care, especially in sensitive situations.
Incorporate processes to enhance the organizational plan of growth and influence.
Participate in developing strategies to promote healthy communities and practice environments.
Recognize strategies to improve nursing quality.
Provide critical review and/or evaluation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to improve quality of healthcare.
