Job Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit.
- Manage and supervise clinical activities related to patient care.
- Demonstrate effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care is provided.
- Perform and document accurate initial assessments per unit standard, including initial observation and obtaining information about patient needs.
- Report appropriate information in a timely manner to the responsible physician.
- Monitor patient lab work for trends and report abnormal lab tests to the appropriate physician.
- Utilize clinical data to implement appropriate interventions.
- Perform and document ongoing patient assessments reflecting physical and mental status accurately.
- Initiate use of restraints per hospital policy and maintain competency in their application and care.
- Analyze basic and advanced cardiac rhythms competently.
- Develop and document a comprehensive plan of care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Maintain professional rapport with physicians, patients, and families while providing the necessary education from admission through discharge.
- Initiate referrals to healthcare providers as necessary.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Registered Nursing experience in acute care
Education: Associates Degree from an accredited school of nursing
License & Certification:
- Active Florida RN license or active multi-state RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current AHA ACLS certification
Schedule:
- Night shift, 7pm - 7:30am
