Job Responsibilities

Work with patients, their families, and other health care professionals during the final stages of patients' lives.
Provide care in private homes, residential care facilities, nursing centers, and other hospice care environments.
Supervise licensed vocational/practical nurses and nursing aides.
Communicate compassionately with patients and families.
Maintain keen observation skills to monitor patients' conditions.
Alert doctors and other professionals about changes in patients' conditions when necessary.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one year of clinical experience is strongly preferred.

Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
