Supervises the day-to-day clinical operation of designated work unit(s).
Provides guidance and support to clinical and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
Delivers professional patient care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Assists in high-risk procedures, surgery, and provides patient education in specific units.
Ensures appropriate care is delivered.
Supports leadership through activities including hiring and development of staff, teaching, community involvement, and participation in committees and research.
May have clinical responsibilities (i.e., patient assignments) in some smaller work units.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience

Education: Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing degree program, master's preferred
