Position: Nursing Supervisor

Job Type: Open and Continuous Announcement

Pay: Up to $200,000 award amount for EDRP

Shift: Flexible; required shifts are 3:30 PM - 4:00 AM; weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as nursing supervisor during non-administrative tours.
  • Manage and direct employees, allocating resources and making staffing changes as needed.
  • Deliver complex patient care while demonstrating leadership.
  • Organize the delivery of care ensuring continuity and peer accountability.
  • Apply clinical knowledge to promote staff involvement in planning and decision-making.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to formulate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for ongoing patient care.
  • Consult with providers and round on units.
  • Provide programmatic outcomes to nursing leadership to improve patient care.

Requirements

Experience: Experience in a nursing supervisory role preferred.

Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing.

License & Certification:

  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a US State, Territory or Commonwealth.

Schedule:

  • Flexible to work all tours, Sunday - Saturday.

COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is required.
