Job Responsibilities

Plan, organize, delegate, direct, negotiate and evaluate services delivered by the Adult Critical Care departments and personnel.
Collaborate and coordinate with other department leadership personnel regarding nursing care functions and activities in adult critical care.
Ensure conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies.
Maintain effective communication within the team.
Develop and recommend policies, procedures, or programs to improve patient care quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Requirements

Experience: Five years' experience in progressive management, preferably in a hospital setting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; advanced degree preferred.

Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS provider
