Position: Manager of Field Experience for the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $60,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

  • Support a team of 10-12 Field Experience Counselors, including coaching, counseling, mentoring, advising, and training.
  • Maintain and report on performance indicators and results, developing team-based management approaches for improved employee engagement and performance results.
  • Encourage team to ensure students are on track with graduation goals and create and maintain relationships with hospitals and healthcare clients for student placement.
  • Verify student placement and academic progress.
  • Maintain knowledge and currency in applicable compliance regulations through self-study, conferences, training, and workshops.
  • Conduct proactive risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and university policies.
  • Ensure assigned employees' competencies are current through testing and training.
  • Assist specialists in developing awareness of securing healthcare client acceptance for field placements.
  • Recommend process changes and tracking methods for efficiency and prepare daily and weekly reports, performance metrics, and projections.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure university web-based content and policy and procedures manuals are accurate and up to date.
