Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice.
Perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
Delegate activities/tasks appropriately to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters.
Ensure assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients.

Teamwork and professional communication with healthcare team members.
Ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures affecting patient care delivery.

Experience: Less than 1 year for EDFP Fellowes only; 1-2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience as a Registered Nurse.

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
