Job Responsibilities
- Intake of patients
- Prepare rooms for patients
- Gather needed information for clinic visits
- Coordinate services during clinic visits
- Administer injections and perform allergy testing
- Conduct phototherapy
- Support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
- Ability to execute complex therapeutic procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Passion for dermatology and teamwork
- Experience in patient care
Requirements
Experience: Preferred one year of patient care experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program
License & Certification:
- Certified through AMT, AAMA, NHA, or MedCA as CCMA or CMA
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross
Schedule:
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work overtime as required
