Job Responsibilities
- Intake of patients
- Prepare rooms for patients
- Gather needed information for clinic visits
- Coordinate services during clinic visits
- Administer injections for allergy testing
- Provide phototherapy
- Support a patient-centered approach to care
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Understanding of human anatomy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to execute detailed therapeutic procedures
- Ability to observe patients accurately
Preferred Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in dermatology
Requirements
Experience: One year of patient care experience preferred
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited medical assisting program
License & Certification:
- Certified through AMT, AAMA, NHA, or MedCA as CCMA or CMA
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Schedule:
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work overtime as required
