Job Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice.
Follows established standards, practices, policies and procedures.
Demonstrates knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
Applies and modifies the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care.
Identifies problems and recommends solutions.
Prepares and maintains records, writes reports, and responds to correspondence.
Develops and maintains department quality assurance.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Reacts calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Demonstrates knowledge of the policies, procedures, regulations of nursing programs and effective supervisory techniques.

Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License
CPR Certified
