Provide safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Set up and operate hemodialysis machines.
Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Participate in process improvement activities to enhance patient satisfaction and achieve quality enhancement goals.
Assist healthcare team in providing patient-specific education regarding adequacy measures.
Welcome and evaluate assigned patients for wellbeing since their last treatment.
Perform vascular access evaluation, cannulation, and administration of heparin as directed.
Obtain pre and post treatment vital signs and weights.
Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment according to physician orders.
Document treatment procedures, vital signs, and patient responses accurately.
Perform machine safety checks and report any unusual findings to the registered nurse.

Experience: Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Education: High School diploma or G.E.D.
