Job Responsibilities

Work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Provide health education and disease prevention
Counsel patients and families
Work with a diverse patient population and serve as a consultant
Manage medications related to anti-obesity, diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
Conduct shared appointments or group education activities

Required Skills

Core Skills

Unrestricted WA License and DEA certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Nurse Practitioner Certification (NP-C)
2+ years of clinical/outpatient experience
Ability to build positive working relationships
Excellent communication skills
High patient satisfaction
Experience promoting teamwork

Preferred Skills

1+ years of experience in obesity / weight loss medicine, endocrinology, diabetes, or similar
Certification in obesity or lifestyle medicine
Teaching or group education experience
