Job Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs monitoring under supervision.
- Assist with AM/PM care and I & O measurements.
- Support tube feedings (bolus, gravity, pump).
- Conduct simple dressing changes and post mortem care.
- Provide pin care for orthopedic patients and ostomy care.
- Discontinue indwelling urinary catheters and collect urine samples.
- Perform phlebotomy and capillary blood glucose monitoring.
- Conduct specimen collection, including finger and heel sticks.
- Assist in tracheostomy care and discontinuing peripheral intravenous lines.
- Carry out in-line suctioning of ventilator patients under supervision.
- Ensure laboratory specimens are properly labeled and delivered.
- Coordinate unit activities to meet patient needs efficiently.
- Serve as a runner between pharmacy, pathology, and x-ray.
- React promptly to emergency situations and report information to nurses.
- Provide safe transportation to ancillary departments using hand-off communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Experience: Less than 1 year
Education: High School Diploma or GED, must have completed Nursing Fundamentals and be actively enrolled in an ADN or BSN Program.
