Job Responsibilities

Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical provider(s).
Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses.
Notify provider and intervene as appropriate for unintended responses to medication.
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs proactively.
Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.

Requirements

Experience: No previous experience needed

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
BLS obtained within 30 days of employment
ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment
