Job Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care through the nursing process, applying competent clinical knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with providers to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
Utilize critical thinking nursing assessment and screening skills to review patient’s medical information.
Determine appropriate services and level of care for patient admissions.
Effectively transfer patients to facilities while maximizing the efficient use of resources.
Communicate, negotiate, and resolve conflicts positively within the healthcare team.
Mentor and develop staff, integrating them into the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely communication regarding patient assignments and needs.
Participate in Performance Improvement activities as appropriate.

Experience: Five (5) years nursing experience

Education: Current Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire; Preferred BSN or ASN/Diploma with enrollment in a BSN program.
