Job Responsibilities
- Help with personal care as needed
- Provide personal care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Ability to follow a care plan
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Laundry
- Light housekeeping
- Follow infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques
- Report any observed or reported changes in the client's condition to the Registered Nurse
- Document care provided and complete required forms for the client's records
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients
- Demonstrate safe practice in the use of equipment
- Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team
- Treat patients and families with respect and maintain confidentiality
- Accept and fulfill assignments with the agency
- Participate in required in-service programs to meet compliance requirements
- Identify learning needs to agency supervisor
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary
