Job Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care by obtaining medical history and performing appropriate physical examination.
- Creates an assessment and plan that may include ordering and interpreting labs.
- Orders imaging studies and develops treatment plans, including referrals to specialty care when needed.
- Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
- Follows up and monitors patient's progress throughout the treatment plan.
- Documents the evaluation and plan of care.
- Provides patient education on a variety of health topics.
- Collaborates and consults with other in-house allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
