Job Responsibilities
- Assume principal responsibility for total care of assigned clients in the respective unit.
- Conduct assessment, reassessment, and establish nursing diagnoses.
- Formulate and implement written plans of care.
- Evaluate the care provided.
- Initiate health care training and education to clients and their families as required.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members to maintain optimal standards of nursing care.
- Supervise other licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel in assigned units.
- Demonstrate awareness of ongoing needs of the unit.
