Job Responsibilities

Provide delegated age appropriate care in a culturally and ethnically sensitive manner under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Assist patients with tasks related to basic nursing skills, personal care skills, and basic restorative services as outlined in their clinical competency assessment.
Practice and perform skills learned during CNA training and certification or basic nursing courses.
Provide continuous safety observation as needed.
Report to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager of the assigned unit and the RNs on duty on each assigned shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum experience of one acute care medical/surgical clinical rotation.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

License & Certification:

State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification
AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Schedule:

2200-0730
Every other weekend rotation
Holiday shifts when scheduled
