Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical caregiver health services.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and PSJH policies.
- Participate as an integral team member with colleagues such as Infection Prevention, Absence and Disability Management, Workers' Compensation and Well-being.
- Perform pre-employment health screens and vaccinations.
- Conduct training and education for caregivers.
- Manage surveillance to support caregivers in their health and safety.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong understanding of occupational health practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an Employee/Occupational Health setting
- Experience with computer databases and systems, such as Microsoft Office and Excel
Requirements
Experience: 1 year Experience as an RN in an acute hospital setting or similar nursing experience.
Education:
License & Certification:
- Alaska Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
