Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of best practice models for patient care.
- Support investigations into patient/family/member concerns about patient care and services.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Allocate resources effectively in clinical areas.
- Supervise the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Create a safe environment for patients and employees.
- Maintain clinical expertise and provide necessary clinical supervision.
- Delegate tasks aligned to the scope of practice.
- Perform clinical duties as required.
- Recommend developmental opportunities for staff and build collaborative relationships.
- Solicit performance feedback and provide mentorship to team members.
- Support execution of performance management guidelines.
- Implement and adapt to organizational changes and best practices.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the designated work team.
- Develop work plans to meet business priorities.
- Remove obstacles impacting performance and recommend improvements.
- Supervise hospital administrative functions supporting patient care.
- Manage care delivery operations within a 24/7 environment.
- Supervise improvements to operations and technology processes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for quality care.
- Monitor the continuous improvement of clinical practices.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in patient care delivery; minimum one (1) year in a leadership role.
Education: Associates degree in Business, Nursing, Health Care, or a directly related field.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
