Job Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care.
- Serve as a clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure compliance with Genesis policies, practice standards, and regulations in clinical operations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, allocate, and control the nursing department budget.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement and mentor staff.
- Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current Registered Nurse/RN license
- Clinical experience in nursing supervision
- Knowledge of MDS process and state/federal regulations

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; at least 2 years in nursing supervision in long-term care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse/RN license from the State Board of Nursing
