Pay: $65.41 - $82.86 per hour / $136,052.80 - $172,348.80 salary, signing bonus available

Job Responsibilities
- Perform health assessments, including thorough history and physical examination
- Order or perform certain diagnostic tests and medication orders
- Evaluate psychosocial and family aspects for a general health assessment
- Diagnose common acute and chronic conditions and provide necessary follow-up care
- Promote and maintain periodic health assessments and preventive screening
- Manage common acute and chronic illnesses and initiate life-saving procedures in emergencies
- Provide clinical oversight of NP/PA trainees, NP residents, and/or new providers
- Direct medical assistants, lab personnel, and non-professional medical staff
- Provide in-service training for staff in selected topics
- Maintain electronic health records, including coding and signing off charts
- Assist in internal quality control audits and maintain quality standards
- Discuss or refer complex and high-priority patient cases as needed
- Provide assistance within and outside clinical arena as needed
- Work as part of the health care team and educate patients on preventive health care
- Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Board Certification or Eligibility from a certified Nurse Practitioner program
- Current medical license to practice in California, including DEA license and CPR
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to build trust and respect with patients and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Sensitivity to culturally and linguistically diverse populations
- Ability to utilize computer technology and adapt to evolving technological requirements
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience providing medical care within a community health setting
- Bilingual, especially in Spanish
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of three years as a Nurse Practitioner
