Job Responsibilities
- Deliver excellence in patient care through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses and establishing goals.
- Plan and implement interventions and evaluate patient care outcomes.
- Participate in and maintain quality, cost effectiveness and guest relations.
- Provide patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience (required). Preferred 2 years experience in transplant LVAD or cardiovascular surgery.
Education: Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma (required). Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required within 2 years from date of hire.
License & Certification:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
