Job Responsibilities
- Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
- Serves as a leader of the health care team, delegates tasks appropriately, and demonstrates accountability.
- Demonstrates professional behavior and champions new ideas.
- Leads and directs team members through change processes and participates in problem identification and resolution.
- Mentors, orients, and coaches others in patient care activities.
- Shares responsibility and authority with subordinates and holds them accountable for performance.
- Demonstrates problem-solving ability with other departments for member resolutions.
- Prioritizes and supervises work assignments to ensure patient care activities are completed.
- Complies with regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
- Develops and contributes to individualized patient care plans.
- Monitors patient progress and revises care plans based on evaluations.
- Ensures effective discharge plans, discussing them with patients and families.
- Maintains patient safety and comfort, addressing concerns and pain management.
- Practices customer service standards, ensuring a clean and functional work environment.
- Actively listens to and addresses patient and family needs.
- Acts as a resource, mentor, and preceptor for new employees.

Requirements

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support

- Full-time or part-time
- Every other weekend and some holidays
