Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
- Use systematic planning and appropriate methods to coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and patients/families.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple patient needs and aspects of care.
- Actively communicate with care team to plan patient care.
- Utilize available resources to solve problems and determine effective approaches.
- Use nursing process and critical thinking for individualized and goal-directed patient care.
- Identify potential problems for which the patient is at risk and continuously evaluate interventions.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Act as a preceptor and teacher to other nurses.
- Implement safe and therapeutic care for patients with complex needs.
- Document care according to department guidelines.
- Delegate and communicate expectations for care delivery processes.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Anticipate and address barriers to maintaining therapeutic relationships.
- Provide age-appropriate patient education and facilitate recovery and health maintenance.
- Coordinate transfer and discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements
Experience: 1 Year clinical experience
Education: Graduate of nursing school
License & Certification:
- California Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional
