Job Title: SLC - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C)
Position: Direct care within Skilled Nursing Facilities
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $54.00 to $69.00 per Billable Hour
Shift: Flexible schedule, days of the week preferred

Job Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena is a plus).
- Excellent written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and organized under stressful situations.
Preferred Skills
- Fluency in Spanish.
Requirements
Experience: 1 year of Geri Psych Experience and 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
Education:
License & Certification:
- Licensed in Utah by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
- Licensed by the Utah Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
