Job Responsibilities

  • Manage patient safety programs and initiatives by strategizing with relevant teams and leaders.
  • Coordinate responses and action plans to address reported significant events including safety hazards, accidents, incidents, and threats.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management to develop patient care and satisfaction programs.
  • Create and advocate for developmental opportunities for others; build collaborative, cross-functional relationships.
  • Solicit and act on performance feedback; work with leaders and employees to set goals and provide open feedback and coaching.
  • Hire, train, and develop talent for growth opportunities; evaluate talent for succession planning.
  • Oversee implementation and stay updated with organizational change, challenges, feedback, best practices, processes, and industry trends.
  • Foster open dialogue amongst team members; motivate teams to meet business objectives.
  • Delegate tasks and decisions; provide support and guidance; encourage development in decision-making.
  • Manage designated units or teams by translating business plans into tactical action items.
  • Communicate goals and objectives; incorporate resources, costs, and forecasts into plans.
  • Remove obstacles impacting performance; guide performance and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage data collection and analyses to support quality improvement efforts.
  • Lead corrective action plans for areas of improvement identified during audits and surveys.
  • Develop processes for root cause analysis and other assessments in response to significant events.
  • Direct the development of multiple quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports; Minimum five (5) years in healthcare administration or related field.

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (CA)
