Provides direct patient care within the ambulatory setting based on the nursing process and within the role/scope of practice.
Maintains standards of care relevant to Uro-Oncology.
Evaluates unstable or complex patient care situations and facilitates appropriate intervention.
Implements appropriate clinical decisions and demonstrates appropriate use of expert peers and management as applicable.
Responsible for management of patient coordination, triage, and direct patient care.
Acts as a liaison of communication between nursing staff, providers, and clinic staff.
Supports patient self-management of disease.
Observes, records, and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
Educates patient/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness.
Responsible for educational instruction to patients and families with healthcare needs.
Responds to/refer incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
Documents using EMR to maintain and/or develop patient records in compliance with practice standards.
Maintains patient confidentiality.

Experience: 2-5 years clinical experience in direct patient care preferred

Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited College of Nursing
