Monitor patients' cardiac and vital signs using telemetry equipment and other monitoring systems
Interpret EKG and arrhythmia readings to assess the patient's condition and identify any abnormalities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and patient response
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Respond to emergency situations quickly, efficiently, and with sound judgment
Document patient information and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
Provide education to patients and families regarding cardiac health, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Maintain a calm and efficient approach in high-stress situations

Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active unencumbered GA license
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and arrhythmia management
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations with composure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 1 year of hire
Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to providing the highest quality care
