Provide direct patient care in the Step Down Unit.
Develop individualized care plans through assessment and planning.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Collaborate with patients and families regarding developmental, cultural, and age-specific differences.
Develop and implement patient care plans including problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.
Communicate effectively with physicians about patient’s clinical condition and diagnostic study results.
Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all patients.
Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.

Experience: At least a year of med/surg or critical care experience required

Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
