Job Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care.
Develop individualized care plans through assessment and planning.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
Collaborate with patients and families, considering developmental, cultural, and age-specific differences.
Develop and implement patient care plans that include problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.
Communicate effectively with physicians about patients’ clinical conditions and diagnostic study results.
Perform nursing duties as needed within the continuum of care for all patients.
Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current State of Utah Registered Nurse License
Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) certification
Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) certification
Nursing theory and practice knowledge
At least one year of med/surg or critical care experience

Preferred Skills

Associates Degree in Nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
