Job Responsibilities

Monitors and evaluates monthly transfers/transport stat reports to identify trends and takes actions accordingly.
Works with program leadership to define and build outreach reports/dashboard to measure/track outreach activity effectiveness and contribution to the organizational strategic plan.
Partners closely with NCH professionals in provider relations, trauma, ECLS, transfer center, critical care, patient navigation, and institute leadership to ensure unified and collaborative delivery of content and representation with outside hospitals/agencies.
Supports complex coordination of patient transports to/from referral sites as needed.
Prepares and maintains records of activities, tracks spending on necessary items within approved budgetary guidelines, compiles data, and prepares reports.
Provides education, information, and training to appropriate individuals regarding programs and services, neonatal/pediatric transport to/from referral sites as needed.
Participates in meetings, conferences, and other related groups to receive and convey information.
Identifies progressive ideas through researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracks accomplishments and stays abreast of their impact on NCH's LifeFlight program and organization.
Ensures effective planning and organization of community outreach efforts.
Works closely with program leadership and Marketing and Communications to promote the brand/image awareness of Nicklaus Children's Hospital LifeFlight program in the service region.
Develops educational materials to support public relations and communications with NCH customers.
Defines, develops, and ensures optimal working relationships with community physicians, medical staff members, and referring physicians.

Experience in developing and implementing business plans and market strategies

Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services and Critical Care Transport operations

Education: Bachelor's Degree Science in Nursing (BSN)

License & Certification:

RN Licensure within the State of Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC)
American Heart Association BLS Instructor Provider
American Heart Association PALS Instructor Provider
American Heart Association ACLS Instructor Provider
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor Provider
Air Medical Crew Core Curriculum (AMCCC) required within 6 months of hire
Active and valid State of Florida driver’s license
