Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Perform patient assessments including data collection on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
- Evaluate developmental age of the patient when performing assessments, treatments, and patient/family education.
- Organize patient data to formulate a plan of care and make care decisions based on needs.
- Identify expected patient outcomes and carry out the plan of care.
- Provide patient care specific to setting and needs while ensuring appropriateness to the severity of conditions.
- Oversee activities of ancillary and support team members.
- Identify teaching opportunities and provide necessary resources for patient education.
- Communicate issues/concerns to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, and/or physician.
- Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.

Requirements
Experience: New Graduates of a nursing program eligible; 1 year of nursing experience required for PRN positions.
Education: Graduate of a nursing program
License & Certification:
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
