Job Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of a department to provide services for patients.
Meet quality, legal, organizational, and medical staff goals.
Promote efficient operations to provide effective nursing care.
Independently manage the department under the guidance of a Nurse Manager/Director.
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, JCAHO, and the Nurse Practice Act.
Promote optimum health care delivery within budgetary guidelines.
Be responsible for department(s) on a 24-hour basis.
