Job Responsibilities
- Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention as a patient-care innovator.
- Shape exceptional patient journeys every day leveraging skills and technology to impact patient wellbeing.
- Establish an authentic personalized relationship with patients and their support systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice in care.
- Provide compassionate care for patients.
- Accept responsibility, accountability, and authority for provision and management of care according to current policies and procedures.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Preferred Skills
- Experience in acute care hospital
- American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- American Heart Association or Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required within six (6) months of hire
- Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC)
- Emergency Nurse Association, preferred
Requirements
Experience: Experience in acute care hospital, preferred
Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
License & Certification:
- Current VA RN license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- American Heart Association or Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required within six (6) months of hire
- Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) - preferred
