Job Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice.
Follows established standards, practices, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrates knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
Administers patient care following organizational policies, regulations, and procedures.
Utilizes medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
Establishes a safe working environment by recognizing common safety hazards and precautions.
Applies and modifies the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing for ongoing patient care.
Identifies problems and recommends solutions.
Prepares and maintains records, writes reports, and responds to correspondence.
Develops and maintains department quality assurance.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Maintains quality control standards and reacts calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Interprets, adapts, and applies guidelines and procedures.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current valid CPR certification
Registered Nurse - State Licensure
Basic Life Support certification
Ability to float to other FHMG practices as needed

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's Degree

Requirements

Experience:

Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

License & Certification:

RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure
BLS - Basic Life Support

Schedule:

Willing to float to other FHMG practices when necessary
