Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all relevant rules and regulations.
Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
Complete timely assessments per Practice Guidelines including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Set measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for the patient and assist in the development of an individualized plan of care.
Demonstrate the ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition.
Adhere to pertinent regulatory standards, including strict infection prevention precautions.
Promote an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and visitors.
Follow chain of command when appropriate.

Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) as required for specialty/unit
Ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data
