Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.

Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.
Participates in clinical orientation with support from Clinical Educators.
Adheres to AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.

State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer

Experience: 6 months of nursing (RN) experience

Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
