Job Responsibilities

  • Develops patient safety programs and initiatives by monitoring procedures for reporting safety hazards, accidents, incidents, and significant events.
  • Improves patient strategies based on outcomes and leads improvement activities for patient care and operational programs.
  • Promotes learning in others by driving projects forward and building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provides actionable feedback to others including upward feedback to leadership and mentoring junior team members.
  • Creates and executes plans to capitalize on strengths and improve opportunity areas.
  • Adapts to competing demands and learns from change, challenges, and feedback.
  • Models team collaboration within and across teams.
  • Conducts or oversees business-specific projects, promoting adherence to all procedures and policies.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to make effective business decisions.
  • Develops work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines, coordinating resources to accomplish goals.
  • Recognizes and capitalizes on improvement opportunities and influences project task completion by others.
  • Implements data collection and analyses to support quality improvement efforts through advanced statistical analysis.
  • Investigates opportunities for improvement in quality metrics development and performance standards.
  • Facilitates the development of quality improvement initiatives using advanced technology and methodologies.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for quality improvement processes and regulations for stakeholders.
  • Develops educational programs related to changes in regulation, internal concerns, and system usage.
  • Develops stakeholder performance review processes utilizing multidisciplinary criteria.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum three (3) years in a leadership role; four (4) years in clinical setting or health care administration.
