Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an understanding in delivering holistic care through collaborative strategies with others in a team environment.
- Has knowledge of program regulations and is able to carry out objectives of the Nursing program.
- Provides direct nursing care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
- Follows guidelines to meet and maintain program requirements.
- Administers nursing care to patients, such as baths, enemas, treatments, and minor dressing changes.
- Prepares patients for diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
- Participates in the interdisciplinary treatment team meeting process.
- Identifies, reports, and documents medication errors/discrepancies, reactions, and side effects.
- Takes and accurately records vital signs, height, and weight in Electronic Health Records.
- Prepares and administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular).
- May be required to float to all areas within the ambulatory care clinics as needed.

Requirements
Experience: None beyond the basic requirements; preference for candidates with two years of professional experience.
Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency or accredited by NLNAC.
License & Certification:
- Active, full, current and unrestricted licensure as a Graduate Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
Schedule:
- Full time days, 0800 AM - 1630 PM
COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement.
