Assist in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age-specific groups.
Adhere to the AdventHealth Orlando Corporate Compliance Plan and to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.
Participate in obtaining nursing history and report abnormalities to the RN.
Assist in identifying needs and developing/modifying the plan of care.
Perform treatments according to policy and procedure.
Provide patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
Function appropriately in clinical emergencies.
Support quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
Follow CDC isolation guidelines and demonstrate appropriate use of PPE.
Exhibit a desire to learn and upgrade skills.
Perform waived and/or non-waived Point of Care Testing if qualified.
