Job Responsibilities
- Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups at the Women’s Center.
- Utilize the nursing process in achieving the goals of the department.
- Assist the radiologist during breast biopsy procedures and provide care, documentation, and follow-up for the patient following the procedure.
- Follow up on all positive mammograms, securing the proper prescription from the physician and assisting the patient with obtaining further testing.
- Schedule special procedures and maintain, access, and print patient records while assuring privacy according to HIPAA guidelines.
- Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all applicable local, state, and agency rules and regulations.
- Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Skills
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP (based on patient population)

Education: Graduate of a school of nursing
